SMS Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 15, 2026

About this messaging program

AP Dental (operated by Well Group Dentistry) sends text messages to patients who have opted in. Messages include appointment reminders, appointment confirmations, scheduling, billing notices, recare reminders, wellness program updates, and occasional service announcements or special offers.

How to opt in

Patients can opt in to receive SMS from AP Dental through any of the following:

  • Online booking widget at ap.dental/pages/appointments — by checking the SMS consent box before submitting an appointment request.
  • Wellness plan signup at pay.ap.dental — by checking the SMS consent box during enrollment.
  • In-office intake — by signing the patient intake form which includes SMS consent language.

Each opt-in is recorded with the patient's name, phone number, source (widget/portal/intake), and timestamp.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on the patient's appointment cadence and program enrollment. Most patients receive approximately 2 to 8 messages per month.

Costs

AP Dental does not charge to receive these messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier's plan.

How to opt out — STOP

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any text message we send. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will not receive further messages from this program.

How to get help — HELP

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact the office directly at (833) 722-8833 or info@ap.dental.

Supported carriers

Messages are compatible with major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Boost Mobile, Cricket, Virgin Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent is not a condition of services

Agreeing to receive text messages from AP Dental is not required to schedule an appointment, become a patient, or receive any dental services. Patients may opt out at any time without affecting their care.

Privacy

We do not share or sell mobile information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in consent is not shared with third parties. Mobile information that we collect is used to fulfill the messaging program described above and operate our practice. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.
